Festive calendars fill quickly: pujas, family lunches, card parties, evenings out. Woman’s Era’s October 2026 beauty edit, “Glow Into the Festivities With Picks For The Season”, rounds up haircare, skincare and makeup picks for the occasion. Its central idea is that the glow begins well before the first diya is lit, with well-cared-for skin and products that work behind the scenes as much as in the mirror. We’re glad our Hybrid Daily Protection Sunscreen made the skincare list, under the heading “Sun Protection Meets Skincare”.
What the magazine noticed
The write-up looks closely at the formula. It points to the Ceramide Complex, which it describes as known for supporting the skin’s natural barrier and helping retain moisture. It highlights Aquaxyl, a hydrating ingredient, and Tocopheryl Acetate, a form of vitamin E that it associates with antioxidant benefits. It also notes the pairing of mineral and organic UV filters in an SPF 50 PA+++ formula, which it reads as substantial UVB protection with UVA coverage.
Our product page adds that the formula also contains glycerin and hyaluronic acid for hydration, and lists the full ingredients so you can check them yourself.
An honest verdict
Woman’s Era calls the sunscreen a promising multitasking option and says its ingredient profile makes it worth considering for a skincare-conscious daily routine. It also says plainly that the finish, comfort and wear need hands-on testing. We think that’s fair. A sunscreen only works if you enjoy wearing it, so we’d rather you try it than take anyone’s word, ours included.
For another view of the texture, TheGlitz reviewed the same product and found it lightweight and non-greasy. That’s one publication’s opinion, and skin and preferences vary.
Using it through a busy festive week
Our product page keeps the directions simple:
- Apply 2–3 finger lengths on clean, dry skin as the last step of your skincare.
- Wait 15–20 minutes before sun exposure.
- Reapply every 2–3 hours if you’re outdoors or sweating.
- Use it daily, even indoors.
Festive days tend to be long, spent moving between rooms, rooftops and courtyards, so the reapplication step matters more than usual. It also helps to know why the advice says “even indoors”. A recent Tribune feature featuring our co-founder, Diksha Bhardwaj, pointed out that UVA rays pass through window glass and cloud cover, and that a single morning application wears down with sweat, touch and time.
Skin prep beyond the night before
It’s tempting to treat festive skincare as a last-minute project. Woman’s Era’s closing note makes the better point: the best beauty choices keep working after the celebrations end. A daily sunscreen is the kind of habit that fits that thinking, because it’s useful on an ordinary Tuesday as much as on Diwali.
